Almost 2000 years ago Jesus called us to Go and make disciples of all people teaching them to obey all that he commanded. Ying Kai helps unpack this with four statements: Go not come. Make disciples, not church attenders. All people, not just some. Teaching them to obey, but just gain knowledge.

I have a heart to see the nations reached to fulfill of Matthew 24:14 “And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” Jesus won’t return until the task of the Great Commission is finished.

We want to see Jesus return in our life time!

Our work as a family towards this is down twofold: by going abroad as a Catalyst on e3 Partners Engaging Nations team, but also here in St. Louis by intentionally reaching out within the vast international community here made up of refugees and immigrants.

Throughout the Bible there are numerous times where God declares that the greatest commandment is to love your God with all of your heart, soul, and mind, and to love your neighbor as yourself. This isn’t easy, but it is such a great call… not only for the people in vocational ministry, but every Christian.

As we share stories about our lives on mission, we believe that God will prompt people to join in with us. There are a number of ways to do this, but we want to highlight two of the biggest ways:

  1. You can find out more information about my role as a Catalyst with e3 Partners Engaging Nations team and become a financial partner in ministry with us by going to my staff page at https://www.purecharity.com/luke-holder-e3
  2. If you want to read more information about how you can get involved with international ministry right here in St. Louis click this link to learn more about the Good Neighbor Initiative: http://goodneighborstl.com/
